Cameron Park Lake

In case you’re looking for a decent bass fishery, I’d say Cameron Park Lake is pretty good right now.  PG&E scheduled a maintenance power outage today in my neighborhood – since I couldn’t work, I went over to the lake to try my luck. I may not make it back out to the lake for a while.

Dandelion Days 2019

Picture the Bank of America parking lot on St. Patrick’s Day weekend, the weather was great, Jackson Creek rippling behind us. The AFF booth was manned by Bob Parkyn, Charlie Moore and Robert Speckert, giving out club literature and talking fishing with several dozen fishing enthusiasts.

Eagle Canyon Trophy Trout

Eagle Canyon is a trophy trout private facility with two small lakes holding rainbow trout ranging in size from four pounds upward to 15 pounds. Nine AFF members and guests enjoyed the day and caught some great fish.

Amador Flyfishers teamed up with Delta Fly Fishers for this New Year's Day outing on the Moke River. They fished for steelhead below Camanche Dam.
